Choose a familiar object near you — it could be your alarm clock, or a poster on your wall, or your favorite hoodie.

Write a short story from the perspective of that object. What is your alarm clock's day like now that you don’t have to wake up early for school? What has your poster seen happen when you weren't in the room? How does your hoodie feel being left at school in your locker?
